Garrett Leight California Optical (GLCO) was founded in 2009 by the son of Oliver Peoples inventor Larry Leight. He has successfully passed on the eyeglasses gene. Garrett Leight manufactures contemporary classics in an American retro-style. Designed in Venice, California, his spectacles can not deny their origins: their look transports the casual charm of the Californian lifestyle.

GLCO frames are manufactured environmentally friendly – in Fair Trade production. And also the quality demand of the brand is high: Each pair of glasses is individually controlled by hand and then given a manual finish. When it welcomes its owners it embodies a sense of design and love for detail.  This is evident even in their packaging – with a little history about GLCO.

Hauke and Marc Oliver know Garrett well from international fairs. They have been one of his first German customers – and that connects. In the summer of 2016 there will be even an exclusive joint venture: a special edition only available at five sunny locations worldwide.

These include Bremen (STILPLUS OPTIC), Berlin (Specs Berlin), Darmstadt (Klar), Heidelberg (Steingasse 14) and Munich (Leidmann). California is just not everywhere.
